more of my story

It took doctors five to seven years to finally figure out what was really happening with my health, all while my health kept deteriorating. All I could do was wait. This was one of the most challenging parts of my life. To this day, it still boggles my mind that it took THAT long.

I went from doctor to doctor, mainly specialists, who ran test after test, in the end only to hear they didn't have any answers every single time. It was frustrating, quite defeating and tiring. It also increased my pain and exhaustion. I was overcome with such relief when I finally received my first diagnosis because now we could come up with a treatment plan. Sadly, very few options were given and each one of them included the use of a lot of medications.

Back then, that was the route I chose. It was all I knew, and in all honesty, it was comfortable. I truly believed back then that these medications would improve my health.

It didn't. It actually got worse.

As the years went by, I went from one autoimmune disorder to four. To help manage this, I was now on over 30 medications that I was taking orally and topically, as well as infusions.

The result? I kept getting sicker.

During one such infusion, I had a near-death experience. That was my wake up call and I knew I needed another way. I wanted to have a life. One that was free of all medications. One where I was healing and not sick.

Thankfully, I found it! I now love sharing my healing story and how I did it, because it not only gives you hope, but it shows you what is really possible for you too!

I am often asked what made the most significant change in your healing journey.

I would say changing my diet. This is where I started and I immediately saw results. It is where I feel anyone living with an autoimmune or chronic disease should consider starting. It is the easiest choice to make, and seeing the improvements in your health will propel you to continue on your path.

I am often asked if significant changes are needed.

My response is yes, but that is what worked for me. What it really depends on is YOU: your goals, your willingness to let go of beliefs, and your eating and lifestyle habits.

Therefore, only you can decide.
