With over 70% of the population being Generators (Generators/Manifesting Generators), one might ask, “How can Generators be taken advantage of?”  Truth is, it happens all the time and most are unaware.

If you were raised from birth as a Generator, there is a possibility, you understand the nuances and the ease of being a Generator.

If you were raised without having a clue you were a Generator, there is a good chance, now knowing you are a Generator is not as simple and easy to live as what you have read, learned when your chart was done or with what you are learning about yourself.

As a Generator, you understand cognitively, your power comes from the ability to make decisions from your gut (Sacral center) and through sounds.  The sounds part is what confuses so many as since you were a child that aspect of yourself has been quieted down and in awakening it, takes a lot of practice and time.

As a Generators you are here to respond to life, based upon the decision making from the response heard/felt in your Sacral Center.  When you can do that, the beautiful, simple, easy way of living as a Generator is realized.

Most Generators are not using their generative capacity accurately. 

For a moment think about your life:

Are you tired all the time?

Do you have more on your to-do list than time to complete?

Do you find yourself caring for your children, spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, neighbor’s dog, your parents and cannot find any time for yourself?

Does your day end, way before everything you NEEDED to complete is done and you are so exhausted, you cannot see straight?

Are you someone who is afraid to say NO?

Do you find yourself taking on project after project and then not wanting to finish them or finding little enjoyment?

Are you someone who keeps changing jobs because there is no satisfaction or because the ‘boss’ just doesn’t get me?

Do you find that sometimes you have quit a job, a project and months later you are upset with yourself because you really were enjoying it, more than you knew?

If any of this sounds like you and you are a Generator, there is a very good possibility you are using your energy incorrectly (for example trying to make things happen from your mind- what it thinks it wants without waiting for the response from your Sacral to respond) which just results in frustration and more exhaustion.

It is time to step back and minimize the frustration and set some time aside to really understand how to use your Sacral response to see where you are overextending or if quitting is correct for you.  Listening to your Sacral response will give you the answers and the more you practice, the mastery will come.

The not-self theme of Generators is Frustration and it shows up in your life when you try to make things happen instead of waiting for something to respond to before acting.  It is your STRATEGY to wait to respond and your antidote to frustration.

Some frustration is normal, it is part of your learning process.  Similar, to what the Manifesting Generator goes through all Generators learn in bursts followed by plateaus on no improvement, despite exhausting themselves. 

Follow you STRATEGY: wait to respond, then act when the response is positive.

The Sacral center speaks in ONLY 3 voices: Ah-huh (yes), Uhn-un (no) and hmmm (no response, hesitation, or no energy available at the moment).  It is important to learn to hear the sounds or your Sacral (auditory) and to feel (visceral) the opening and closing of your energy’s availability.  It has been surprising to learn that you can know everything about your life in asking the questions and listening.  Sacral questions are simply yes or no questions.  It has been amazing to see how often my energy of the Sacral center disagrees with my mind and is a process.  Believe me.  I am just learning more and more each day, that going against the life force of the Sacral causes frustration and wears the body down.  When I wait for the response, my life is in alignment with the life force energy and there is such a great feeling of satisfaction and my energy levels stay with me all day.

A common question asked by manifesting generators is, “Am I still a generator?”  The answer is yes.  You are a generator with a direct link from the throat center to a motor, the sacral center, root center, solar plexus or heart(ego/will) center.  You know you are a generator by the defined (colored) sacral center.  You just have more energy than then a pure generator and the potential for more growth.

Like the generator, you also need to wait to respond.  This will be the hardest thing for you to do and is extremely important and valuable for you to learn to do this so you can live your life joyfully and successfully.  Yes, because you are a Manifestor, you will want to leap into action and yes, that is important for you to do, but not until you have waited to respond.  Most Manifesting Generators, I know find this very frustrating at first, as you are in constant awareness of all that is around you, all that is being offered and just hearing someone say you have to wait to respond, feels unnatural.  Just remember you cannot plan your life in advance and to remember YOUR response mechanism.  Each of us will only have a fulfilling and successful life in we are following our strategy and authority.

Like all Generators, once we are living our strategy fully, we are awake and see the opportunities that are right for us, let the others go and no longer feel exhausted. For many, just because they still have energy, they ‘think’ they are correctly picking the right stimuli.  If you are ‘thinking’ most likely not.  It is the learning to tune in and listen to the body.  Yes, keep watching and observing everything going on, but it is your body that guides you to what is correct for you.  Learn to listen to that response mechanism in your gut, the one that will give you that uh-huh (yes) or unhunh (no) grunt type sound, and then you know you are using your sacral/gut and not your head/mind.  The asking of questions and listening is so important.  For so many of us, as children when we made those grunt or animal type sounds to respond to what we wanted, we were immediately told to stop and speak and so we have to relearn how to connect with our sacral response.

The joy of being of a Manifesting Generator is that once you have received the go ahead from your sacral, you are now able to act like a Manifestor.  Just keep in mind that if you go after something before waiting to respond, you are not in alignment with your strategy and very well may find yourself feeling frustrated, angry, exhausted or a combination of all three.  Waiting does not mean you are doing nothing, which is something I hear often.  Yes, you still go on with your life, you are just not controlling, deciding or responding, yet.  Once you have that response, then respond, just go for it, as the Manifestor in you so wants to do, whether you have all the plans or not.  Also remember, you are speedy and can miss aspects and fixing may or may not be important.  Many time, the project will be just fine the way you did it.  You have probably been this way your whole life, where you may have skipped parts of a book, lost interests in parts of your education or even sidestep aspects of your job.  This is all part of who you are.  Most manifesting generators would want to be careful with an occupation that requires detail, like a military pilot, a surgeon or any profession that has detail that has to be done in specific steps.

Also consider that there will be times you may just be unsure or feel stuck.  Check your gut, maybe you added a step that you didn’t wait to respond and now you are not in alignment and you are wasting energy.  Sometimes, you may respond with a yes, there may be a time you feel a bit uncertain, continue moving forward and check along the way to see if you are continuing to get the ‘yes’ response to be certain this is really what you are to be doing.  Going ahead, pushing forward and checking in are all part of ensuring you are moving in right direction.

Relationships are the same.  You will need to initiate with a Projector or Reflector, even though you are to wait first.  The Projector will spend their lifetime waiting for the invitation.  Every Projector loves being asked to go somewhere or meeting you for lunches or a cup of tea.  Once a Projector is invited it allows them to do what they are here to do. If you are with a projector encourage them to ask you yes or no questions so you are constantly checking in with your sacral.  Just remember, Projector’s will have no idea what this feels like.

All of this takes practice.  Unless you were taught this as a child it is buried and needs to be awakened.  Do your best each day to listen to your gut.  If it is your head, honor it, but do not let it be charge.  Stay alert to all that is coming to you.  Ask yourself lots of questions even as you move forward.  As a Manifesting Generator you will have so much to say yes or no to.  What a great gift that is.  Start using it today and then again tomorrow.  Have fun.

Mother Teresa, Stephen King, Miley Cyrus and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., are all manifesting generators.  While each of them on the surface seem quite different from each other, and they are as each is as unique as we all are, they also share similarities in their charts that guided them to do what they do.      

Mother Teresa of Calcutta

As a manifesting generator, Mother Teresa had both sustainable energy and the ability to make things happen and when you consider all she was able to accomplish in her life she used both traits wonderfully.

The first thing I noticed in her chart is her defined centers (colored in chart). Her crown, ajna and throat all being defined.  The crown (at the top) usually means you are one with a sizable need to understand, question, make sense of, or know what your inspiration is all about.  Her defined Ajna lets us know that from an early age she knew with certainty who she was and what direction her life would take. In studying her, this is accurate as she knew by age 12 that she wanted to live her life in religious service and at age 18 left home to become a missionary. Her defined throat center is all about ‘doing’ and ‘bringing things into form.  In all, each of her defined centers show her to be very independent energectically.  She definitely did not need others to help her express herself. Having the defined sacral, she just needed to wait on her internal guidace to take action in her life.

Another point of interest is the Channel 43-23- the Channel of structuring, also known as the ‘freak-to-genuis’ channel.  Having this channel means one has a natural talent for seeing the world and what is possible, normally from a point of view that others may think of as unconventional and thus impacting the thoughts of others.  In Mother Teresa’s life, this led to thinking about the poor much differently than others had to this point and coming up with solutions that were new and in many cases, considered out-of-the box. 

An example of this would be her choice to serve the poorest citizens of India, with no money and resorting to begging for food and supplies during her first year of starting her school.  It worked though, as soon, many of the officials in India, including the prime minister, became aware of her and her efforts and soon she began receiving support.

Another fascinating aspect of her chart is her Incarnation Cross, the Right Angle Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix (59/55 & 34/20), four powerful gates coming together, giving a view into her purpose.

Gate 34- Power- raw sacral power and the gate with the most energy potential of the four as it can create three motorized channels.

Gate 20 – Now- Contemplation, this is her voice of now, always speaking for the poor.

Gate 55- Spirit- Abundance (for her God)- she has this gate both in her conscious and unconscious that repeat the message that abundance in life comes from spirit, not from material things and she embodied that her whole life and teaching all of us about unconditional love, every day.

Stephen King 

Besides being a manifesting generator, he like all four celebrities discussed in this blog is a very fast processor because he has the 34/20 channel which gives him the ability to manifest after responding.  It is obvious he knew what he wanted to do from an early age which is shown in his defined Ajna. The defined Ajna is all about knowing with certainty who you are and your direction in life.

In looking at his history, he produced numerous books early on.  He also set a goal each day to write 4-6 hours a day.  This was helped by having the gate 5 -gate of waiting activated, which gave him the ability to set routines as this was his natural rhythm and helped him to maintain momentum, to produce the vast number of books he did, by himself in a relatively short time.

One of the channels he has activated is the 43/23 affectionately known as “freak to genius” channel where he sees the world differently, doesn’t necessarily fit in, and has his own world view which he will try and bring that unique perspective to the world, which he has done in his writing.

He also has the 48/16 channel which is a channel of talent that allowed him to bring detail, depth and enthusiasm to his work.  The detail and depth allowed him to bring all the expressions of his writing to life for his reader and keep them entertained.

Looking at his 6/2 profile, the 6 line of the role model has three distinct expressions in life.  In the first 28 years, the 6th line is introspective and experimental and the 2nd line hermit can be quiet or reserved self-experimenting individual, which made writing perfect for him.  It is not unusual to have bursts of energetic expression or explosions from their somewhat reserved personalities.  The 2nd line hermit will continually be pulling back to be alone, but friends will be consistently calling you out.  As one approaches 28, the 6th line gives up the experimentation and heads to the roof.

From age 28 to 50 the 6th line is on the roof.  This is now a time of trying to learn about life through how others do things, pulling in the wisdom, analyzing it and then internalizing.  The roof may feel muted and less engaging.  The 2nd line will continue to want to be left alone and will still be called out by friends.  Often a rhythm is developed of withdrawing and then going out.

At around age 50, he would have come down off the roof and begin to be the role model.  By this time, he has gained a wealth of wisdom that needs to be shared.  But even in being social, many 6/2’s will still be reserved.  They will wait to be called upon.  This can make it difficult for those around them as the 6/2 may seem aloof or not engaged, but in reality, they are just waiting to be called out so they can supply their wisdom.  Another interesting aspect is that at age 52 he was in a car accident that may have given him a wake-up call to re-examine what else in his life was important and to slow down so his body could heal and be in balance from all the pushing he had done earlier in his life.

Miley Cyrus

Another very talented and successful entertainer.  Her chart has many highlights to help us understand the transformation we have all witnessed from her early days of being a Disney star in Hannah Montana, to signing recording contracts, co-writing songs, numerous appearances on tv, in concerts and in movies and oh a few top selling albums, all before she was an adult. 

Being a manifesting generator, she has sustainable energy that has supported the effort and energy needed for all of her endeavors.

Her profile is the 2/5, where we find harmony of the two lines of projection. The 2nd line, the hermit wants to be left alone to do its own thing and she most likely has a very private side.  The transpersonal and seductive 5th line, the Heretic is aware and wary of the projection from others, yet will attract and need to interact with others.  The 5th line also represents the hopes and dreams of humanity.  It is very transpersonal and its impact can be profound.  This profile can lead any rebellion against any standard, at any cost, and provide a practical solution.  It may be a stretch and difficult for many to see, but her switch from Hannah Montana to the teenager/ young adult who through her music pushed every boundary known may have just been a creative way to share with other young people that through exploration she was able to figure out what was good or not so good for her, and who she was without all the projections of others around her.

In looking at her centers, she has an open Ajna center (2nd one) which can make it difficult for her to make decisions as she is very open minded and fluid. She also has an open will center which is all about proving yourself, your talents, doing things your way without interference and she has done that.  She also has a defined solar plexus and needs to not just use her sacral for a response, but also the waves of the solar plexus.  She needs to give herself a day or so to sleep on it to know what is truly correct for herself.  

Like Mother Teresa and Stephen King, she also has the 34/20 channel from sacral to throat. This channel is the defining channel for manifesting generators, a powerful, speedy channel which gives her added power as she has it in the conscious sun and earth positions which means she can use her power and charisma as leverage.  We have seen her do this as she broke out of the Disney image she was in from age 11-17 and began exploring many genres and flexed all her power as she began to figure out who she is.

Gate 59 -gate of intimacy/sexuality, which is unconscious in her chart, so it is not surprising that she opened all sorts of doors in many different arenas “giving birth” to creative projects. Up to that point in her life, her inner questioning on sexuality may have been suppressed and this was her way of exploring who she is in the world. While some may have chosen to approach this shyly, she went bold.  As she has gone through that stage and into where we are seeing her today, she has toned down and seems to be very comfortable with herself and her sense of sexuality.

She also has Gate 54- gate of ambition, which in its description is about barreling through, going toward some unseen goal and just wanting to do it all and be top dog.  While she had tremendous guidance as a youngster from family, friends and people around her, as she has grown into adulthood, she is successful as herself and with this gate, nothing will stand in her way, she can defy the odds.

 Dr. King like the other manifesting generators highlighted here has the Channel 34/20.  His charisma was felt immediately in hearing him speak.  Being a manifesting generator, he utilized his inherent power and charisma to accomplish so much in his 39 years.  He was an amazing multi-tasker, traveled often, marched in many events for civil rights and gave numerous speeches day after day.

Another channel of prominence in his chart is the 28-38 -Channel of Struggle.  From living as a child in the south, he chose early to become a voice to do things differently.  He was all about peaceful revolutions.  His story tells of the struggles he lived with growing up and all the prejudices he faced and how he chose which battles to address.  With his defined mind, he definitely seemed to make those decision with care and chose carefully and made a lasting difference.

He also had an open will center so doing things his way, being able to prove himself and share his talents came quite easily to him.  He also had the defined solar plexus, so besides waiting for the response, from the sacral, it would have been beneficial to sit for a day or two before deciding.

As he died so young, many other attributes and traits in his chart never came to fruition.  He had many gates that while activated and utilized were just beginning to be fully developed and would have continued to fuel him to make a difference in the world.  What we do know is in his life, he did and his words and actions are a reminder for many to continue to move on for peaceful change.

Manifesting generators are about 33% of the population.  They are considered a subset of the Generator, because they also have a defined Sacral but they also have a direct connection from a motor center to the throat, just like a Manifestor.  Many Manifesting Generators believe they are manifestors, forgetting that with that defined sacral, which has sustainable life force energy, they are designed to respond.  So, yes, like the Manifestor, you are able and supposed to initiate and make things happen, but like the Generator you have to wait for something to respond to before taking action.

Most manifesting generators find this difficult to do.

They really have a difficult time with understanding the “responding” – they are not alone, many generators (me for sure) have difficulty too as the deconditioning is vast as for so many of us since childhood we have been programmed to think not feel and constantly be doing, with no real understanding by those around us that is not how we are designed.

In my circle of friends, I have 3 manifesting generators and I enjoy being with all of them.  Sitting back and watching them, has given me so much insight into the processing of a manifesting generator.  Not a one of my friends is someone who goes through all of the step to any project or plan.  They never seem to get stuck, they just fly through to the end.  I have seen them get frustrated, but unlike me where sometimes I hit a plateau and just need to wait to know what to respond to next, their frustration seems to come from no seeing the end result immediately and having to wait for it.  It truly is more that the world is not moving fast enough for them.

Slowing down for them, is difficult.  One of the things we chat about is that most of their friends and others they are with are different types.  We are either generators or projectors.  Often, the slow down is to catch us up.  Sometimes we need the explanation of your vision.  We need the step by step manual.  It has not been easy for my friends to wait for the rest of us to “GET IT.”

If you have a Manifesting Generator in your life, sit back and observe them.  One of my friends is currently writing a program for her employer.  Her biggest obstacle has been the editor sending the project back to her.  I could sense her frustration and asked what was going on.  She explained that the editor keeps wanting her to add all these extra words to the piece and my friend doesn’t think they are necessary.  I started to chuckle which didn’t go over well, at first.  I asked her, is it because for you those extra words are non-essential.  She looked at me, like “DUH,” and said they are.  To her, they are, to anyone reading her program they will not be.  They will be needed very much.  My friend, can do more work in a week than most people do in a month, but someone, normally her assistant will spend a lot of time cleaning up all the little details my friend left out.  To my friend, getting a lot done efficiently and quickly is how she operates and she is even aware there may be some mistakes, but to her those are small and never as important as being efficient and getting stuff done.

Similar to a generator, she can build, her energy will sustain her, but she has no patience for the detail.  She just wants this project done to move on to the next.  I tease her all the time, it is why we get along.  I like the details and have no problem going through the steps and doing a thorough job.  Please know, that doesn’t mean I also do not make mistakes, I do.  Mine are just different than hers. Together thought, the projects are usually done well.

Another way to know a manifesting generator is when you are talking to them, you feel like they are bored or distracted.  You may also feel rushed.  Most of the time they have taken the information in so fast you, the speaker is going fast enough for them.  I have learned to just speak normally, as the manifesting generator, really needs the learning experience of waiting.  It is such a fine balance to carry, to be receptive and active all at the same time.

Like generators, manifesting generators need to learn to use their body for responses before taking action and this takes time and is the key to waiting.  For example, you are sitting at the beach, relaxing listening to music and boom, you have this impulse that you need to return an email.  One of two things happen, you find yourself getting up in response to your mind, or your mind says, “you should send the email” but your body doesn’t move.  Knowing all decisions from the mind take effort, which would be effortless? In case you are not sure, it would be the second as you would need to force yourself to get up.

Here is another example of waiting for the response.  Let’s say your desk needs to be cleaned up.  As your desk is in the main room of your space, you pass by it or see it several times a day and each time your mind says, “you really need organize that desk” but your body resists and the desk does not get cleaned up.  You go off and complete other things your body was directing you too and then, later in the day as you are walking by the desk, you all of a sudden are just cleaning off the desk and it was a breeze.  No inner discussion, no self-talk or beating yourself up.  It was effortless.  You -  let yourself take on the project when your body was ready.  When your body responded.   That is the joy for a Manifesting Generator.  It was effortless, you enjoyed that process and it was satisfying.  All because you waited for the response.

The power of waiting is incredible and causes no resistance.  The things you can accomplish when you wait are unlimited.  Waiting for the response allows you to enter things correctly, use your energy efficiently and not miss those important steps.  Life is then open for you to do more.

Generators in this world are here to be the true builders and creators of the planet.  They have a tremendous wealth of energy and power and there is nothing more powerful than when a generator learns to wait to respond as that is when the true power comes through.

In this blog on celebrities it is very easy to see when each of them did this.  When they responded correctly they easily attract everyone to them.  When generators have others come to them ask, they will give you all they have.  That is the perfection of the generator.

Robin Williams

As a generator, he had sustainable energy, meaning he could go and go, which was quite obvious when you look at the amount of work he was able to do and the energy he expended with his family, acting, comedy and his charitable interests. 

His chart is interesting to look at in that like all generators he has a defined sacral, which is a motor center.  Of the 9 centers in the body 4 are motors (which are about taking action), and he had all four of them defined (the spleen is not a motor- center on far left), which provided him all the energy he needed to take action.  What is even more interesting though is his throat center is undefined/open (third center down), which is our communication center and the energy needs to get there to manifest and make things happen and all his energy had no means to get there.  His energy is go-go-go but it doesn’t reach the throat, the area that makes things happen, yet he had no outlet to release it for things to just happen. So, this can be challenging.

An example for me is think of your car stuck on ice.  You can give it all the gas you want, but you will just be spinning and going nowhere. It is the inability to go forward, even though your are giving it all the action/power.  Once others recognize you need aid then progress can be made.

That happened for Williams, when he was recognized for his abilities in Mork and Mindy.  Once that happened so many opportunities just flowed into his life and he could wait to respond to what was correct for him.  It may be that before that happened, he experienced many challenges.

Open throat center is rare.  About 1/8 of population.  It can be a gifted mimic who can create characters or voices.  The open throat has an ability to take in throat energy from other people and enlarging it.  It gave him the opportunity to take in the communication style and had an amazing way of expressing it to others through his comedy and characters he created. When you have an undefined throat you also have the ability to speak for others, you can be a mouth piece speaking for others.  See Oprah Winfrey below she has the same open throat center.  The undefined throat does need the attention of others, to get the energy and link up to get the energy to the throat.  It is important for those who with open throats to get attention and be recognized to be able to share their gifts.  This also leaves it difficult for an open throat to know what is enough attention or not.  Think of a class clown.

He also is a 2/5 profile meaning, the 2 (unconscious)part of him the hermit likes his alone time, whereas the 5, the Heretic (conscious), is about using his life experiences to help others makes sense of all their experiences.  He had the ability to be a valuable resource for others.  This profile has a challenge in that the unconscious wants to be alone and the conscious wants to be seen.  It makes sense how being so public could be a bit much for him and so balance would have been important.

 Dali Lama

The Dali Lama, like Robin Williams, is a 4 motors generator.  He is a generator with that sustainable energy that will propel him to do all the things he loves.  He has the energy to go and go and we have seen him do that for many years as he is now over 80 years old. His energy has supported him in his travels, to be able to support his people and his causes.  His chart only has the 4-motor center defined and like Robin Williams, none of that energy gets to his throat. He has a lot of openness where he is taking in a lot of energy from others and amplifying it.  With his open throat, it is common not to always feel heard and we have seen that in not always getting the support for his people, but he has used the gift that is there to modulate and get his message across in a way that has been accepted by others and has kept him going.  He also through that open center has an ability to speak for others and he has done that.  If you can master the open throat you are able to really speak for others.  As his G/Self center is open too, his sense of direction for his life comes from outside of him.  We have seen this in how he asks others for support for his people.  His heart center also known as the ‘will’ center, gives him his willpower, which as we have seen in his life is very evident.  He has the ability to motivate others and like the throat this center is only defined by 1/8 of the population.  His presence has touched many of us in the world.

Having the opportunity to hear him speak live in 2006 in Buffalo, his presence magnified all of us and to this day, remains a memory, I cherish.

He has an interesting channel 37-40, which is all about agreements, being involved in community and peace and harmony.  When you think of what we know of the history of Tibet and its people, he has had many struggles to keep himself peaceful, keep his work and the other people involved peaceful, yet facilitate change for peace and harmony.

His chart shows that he also has the channel 60-3 which is mutation and all about a desire to bring change.  He has worked so hard at this all of his life being a voice and bring change to his people but also all of humanity.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah is another generator that in knowing anything about her, you are aware she has the sustainable, consistent energy to keep her going in her work and personal life.  She is surely has shown us she can go, and go about areas of her life she is passionate about.

Like Robin Williams and the Dali Lama, she has the open throat center too.  Her gift of being able to communicate in ways that everyone around her can hear is well known.  She has also used her voice to speak for those who are unable or unsure.  She has lent her voice to speak for them, which is a gift of the open throat center. 

Oprah has many energies in her chart that support the path she has chosen to take.  In looking at some of her gates, (the numbers in her chart that are colored or activated) so much of her life path is clearly defined.  Energies that she was gifted with are:

Gate 62: The gate of Details and Facts.  This gate gives her the foundation to know if something is reasonable or unreasonable. 

Gate 43: The gate of Breakthrough that is constantly making available to her the ability to be ready to deliver deep insights that can make a difference in people’s lives.  This gate gives you the ability to have flashes of pure knowing, that others may not always seem to understand.  For her during these times, she really wants to just trust herself.

Gate 56: The gate of the Wanderer which is about traveling, expanding your horizons and discovering fresh new things in your life.  Home for her will be wherever she lays her hat.  It is also a storytelling gate, residing in her throat center, which gives her the ability when speaking to say, “It happened like this” or “You’ll never believe this.”  Her stories come quickly and she is able to weave them into a way of sharing that her audience gets.  This gate also arouses feedback from her audience to challenge their own beliefs.  For her life is about constant stimulation.  She is always searching for new experiences to add to her life story.

Gate 33: The gate of Retreat, the other storytelling gate.  These are reflective, sober and not highly embellished.  These are the authentic stories of her life that she is able to weave into a story everyone can relate too.  Her memory capacity is sharp, similar to having a database in her head and she can overwhelm her publisher or a director of a movie with all of her creative ideas.  A challenge is knowing when to retreat.  If she doesn’t take time to recharge, she could experience exhaustion or near collapse. 

Her chart is filled with other gates that all speak to her abilities and success.  It is obvious that either due to challenges she has faced in her life, or her experiences, that she has learned to use her sacral authority, her ‘gut instincts” and her splenic awareness.  It is also obvious she has found out that waiting to respond before voicing her ideas and stories (open throat), she could share in a way that has been very abundant for her.

Albert Einstein

In looking at his chart, the first thing I noticed was that his head, ajna and throat are all open.  The open head and ajna gave him his intellectual curiosity and his open-mindedness and if he was in school today, this would have given him many difficulties with rote learning.  He needed the space to be able to ‘think outside the box’ as with those centers being open he was constantly taking in information from those around him and turning it over and over. 

He had an amazing ability to learn new things, delve in with a passion and then just move on to something else, once the information was disproven or no longer accurate.  An example of this was his views on religion which he was raised with since childhood, but after reading a science text given to him, his views all change.  That is very common for those with an open head and ajna.  Another trait of the two open centers, is his learning came easily in the areas he was interested in (math/science) and preferred doing them on his own in his own way but had little time for subject matters that did not stimulate him in any way.

His ajna has 3 gates activated that tell a lot about him. 

Gate 11: The gate of Harmony, which is rich in imagination, cultivating ideas to bring about social harmony.  He was forever thinking about new ideas to keep things fresh and revolving.  He easily dropped outdated methods or concepts that no longer seemed relevant.

Gate 17: The gate of Following which gave him a natural inclination to be fair, balanced, and impartial.  He was not afraid of being strongly opinionated, but also had the ability to be a great diplomat or debater.  He loved to have his opinions tested and to encourage fair debate.   He was more interested in his quality of life, being able to envision and follow views of anyone who might show him ways to enhance his life.

Gate 24:  The gate of Returning, which is about rationalization.  He had a propensity to be intense, preoccupied, looking for missing clues or finding understanding.  This gate just cannot stop searching or digging.  It also means, one can become set in their ways and you have to be careful not to get stuck in holding on to old perspectives.  This gate also offers the possibility of potential bursts of insight if you can embrace them.

As you continue through his chart you are able to see that his sacral energy was a great source for birthing new ideas. His creativity was born here and is the type that is healing for our planet, and the growth of humanity.  This is evidenced in one of his channels the 59-6, the channel of Reproduction and Mating.

A little over 3 years ago, I was introduced to human design and began to learn how it would bring about healing, growth and transformation in my life.  Granted, I had the choice once my design was in my hands to decide if I was going to dive in or put it on the shelf. 

I decided to dive in.

Human Design became a big part of my life.  For the first year, I was not quite sure what that meant, yet as I listened, studied and had sessions with my mentor, it started to become clearer.  To live your human design means to enter into an experiment with your body where you are unlearning as much as you are learning.  The learning has been all about settling in to being a generator and uncovering that lost inner part of me in my sacral center, that is there to give me so much guidance and learning that my mind, has a role in my body, just not the one most of us use it if for. Our mind is not where we make decisions from.   

As generators/manifesting generators make up 70% of the world’s population, there are a lot of us.  We are the world’s work force.  Pure generators make up 37% of the population and manifesting generators 33%.  Both have defined sacral centers, which is what gives us all the energy we need to do all that we do and is where all our decision making happens.  While they have many of the same characteristics, there are specific differences.  Today, we will be looking specifically at Generator.

Finding out you are a generator, like any of the designs is exciting and brings challenges.  The main challenge is that most of us have not been living our design, so as it is explained to us, there will be a lot of uh-uh’s and hmm’s, to that does or does not sound like me to even frustration as you begin to see how far away from your design you are really living.  Yet, if you can just take it all in, realize it is a lot of information to digest and you have choices: you can choose to begin to get back on track today or take more time to let everything settle in and proceed when ready, or just put it back on the shelf and ignore and continue to be frustrated at times in your life.

 The sacral center is the center of life- the core of our reproductive capacity, generator of our energy for our work and all relationships.  Generators create and maintain the world we see around us.  We have been the builders, able to sustain work and then find enjoyment in activities that satisfy us.  With us being 70% of the population, we really do move the world.

As a generator, we have two primary focuses in our lives.  Work and family.

The generator has tremendous energy and as long as you enter into all that you do, correctly, you will have all the energy you need.  For generators, it is all about how we respond.  We are not here to be chasing life, we are her to let life come to us, ask questions to our sacral center and respond.   That is how we live our truth, if we do not live through the response, we will find ourselves frustrated.

Generators are the great workers of the world.  Being satisfied in work, relationships and all you do is, vital and it is not being selfish to switch jobs, end relationship and not settle until you are truly passionate about what you are doing.  Being happy in what you are doing will bring you happiness, joy and complete fulfillment in all areas of your life.

Being a generator myself, the work aspect made so much sense when I heard it.  For more years than I care to count, I would start a job, all excited, and then within a relative short period of time, would become frustrated, lose motivation to even want to quit and ultimately feel stuck.  Then the frustration would set in and a cycle of fighting with myself, sometimes with others I was in relationships with and I would encounter issues at work.  Little did I know that if I would have used my inner authority of sitting and asking my sacral questions, I not only would not have taken many of those jobs, once I saw the pattern of being miserable or stuck, I would have known the decision was made from my mind not my sacral and not correct for me at that time.

So many of us living as generators are living like this.  We live what Human Design calls, the not-self generator, meaning we are not using are generative capacity correctly.  In my case above, I was trying to manifest what the mind thinks it wants (sometimes more money, or better hours, or even less drive time), whereas if I had asked the questions to my sacral center and waited for the response, the uh-uh (yes) or the ut-uh (no) or the mmm or silence (maybe or not yet), I would have saved myself a lot of frustration, a lot of job changes. 

For so many generators it isn’t just our work where we feel “stuck.”  You may feel the same in relationships or other areas of your life that you are just unhappy with or even hate, simply because of how you have been conditioned to live.  Learning to live from our sacral centers is the key to our living an amazing life.  For so many of us from childhood, we have been told by others to use words, to make decisions with our mind, to think before we do something, which is all WRONG.  As a generator, we need to listen and use those guttural tones/sounds that naturally arise from our sacral motor.

As a generator, we are to wait to respond to life.  Waiting until we gain clarity from our sacral center, honors that deep inner part of us that holds all the keys to our life.  If you just remember to ONLY make decision in response, everything in life that is correct for you will begin to come and you will find satisfaction in every facet of your life.
